thorax vesicular breath sounds Explanation: MV = murmure vescicolare ..also vesicular murmur but not English mother-tongue I'm afraid ;) Normal breath sounds are soft and low pitched and caused by the flow of air through the bronchi and alveoli. These breath sounds are termed vesicular; they are heard through inspiration and fade away during expiration. Types of normal (well) and abnormal (ill) breath sounds are shown in Figure 4.
