Anche io ho lo stesso dubbio tuo su parietocolic...pero' lo si ritrova anche in articoli attendibili...
In ogni caso per 'doccia' io ho quasi sempre usato 'groove', anche se in altre occorrenze.

Explanation: Accepted terminology in some surgical procedures- may be to obtain cells for exam. but I don't know what context is here. Hope it's helpful
Thanks for that Mihaela- paracolic gutter is cerainly used. Lavage, although perhaps not what is required in this context, IS used in Surgery, so you may see it again.
