study of the (entire) colon to the caecum Explanation: ...generally, colonoscopy is made to visualise the entire colon to the caecum; I suppose that "cilindro colico" is just a way to describe the cylindrical shape of the colon, but IMO it seems redundant when translating: writing "entire colon" (or just colon) should be enough.
