Italian to English translations [PRO] Medical - Medical (general) / dermatology - testing products
Italian term or phrase:area test
Is this a patch test, or how would it be phrased for a small test of a product supplied by dermatologists to patients and the results recorded and evaluated, etc.?
There's also "Report area test" and mention of those who "hanno partecipato all’Area Test" etc.
Ciao Bruna: it's a series of presentations about a couple of skin products for skin damaged by photoageing, laser treatment, age spots, etc., for which tests have been carried out by the firm to evaluate its effectiveness and the ratings of the doctors and patients have been recorded in charts. Test Area suggests nuclear bombs to me rather (!). Can "(skin) patch test" refer to a study among various people (I usually think of it as an individual thing)?
Hi Rachel, your question is not very clear to me. I mean, I don't really understand if it is indeed a patch test we're talking about or if it's just aguess.... Anyway I would use "skin test" or, alternatively, (skin) patch test. HTH. Ciao!
