Italian term or phrase: titolare
My problem with titolare is that it occurs as part of a list that also includes proprietario.

If proprietario is owner/proprietor, what is "titolare"?

Thanks to everyone for their input here. I'm afraid I'm still unsure of what exactly "titolare" means in the given context, especially since most of the possibilities are already on the list (proprietario, gestore etc.). I went with "holder" in the end, with an NdT explaining my doubts on the subject. No feedback as yet, but will keep you posted. Thanks!

Explanation:
"Contractor": a person working for the owner under contract, responsible for the end results, but not an employee of the owner.
Just another possibility...
