In an x-ray report following hand injury: "Al 2° **raggio** si evidenzia amputazione completa delle falangi", "Amputazione delle falangi e dei 2/3 distali dei metacarpi a livello del 3°,4° e 5° **raggio**." Any ideas on raggio here? Many thanks, Sarah.

The same terminology is used for the foot.
