Am I right in assuming that this means "parameters"?

Context:
Le condizioni definite per la prova sono state:
· Il numero p dei particolari impiegati nell’esecuzione del test = 6
· Il numero r delle misurazioni replicate per ciascun particolare impiegato = 3
· Il numero n degli operatori alternati alla misura = 2
Il prodotto p x r x n = 6 x 3 x 2 = 36, quindi superiore a 30.
