Italian term or phrase: M.C.

... davanti ai sottoscritti Ufficiali di P.G.:

XXX, M.C. and YYY M.C. ...

The problem with M.C. is that I do not know whether the acronym stands for Maresciallo Capo or Maresicallo Carabinieri. Any clarification would be much appreciated.

IATE translates Maresciallo Capo as Warrant Officer II but the translation is highlighted as having only minimum reliability.

I'm looking for a U.S. English translation.

agree Angela Arnone: Just Warrant Officer is enough, I think. http://orbat.com/site/ranks/italy.html.
