". Sul campo di battaglia si afferma sempre di più l’uso delle artiglierie in fusione di bronzo, a polvere nera, ad avancarica, dotate di ruote per il trasporto. Il loro compito tattico è quello di gettare scompiglio negli schieramenti delle fanterie avversarie scompaginando le cariche di cavalleria.
