This abbreviation was fount in the following sentence in an Italian "Foglio di Congedo Illimitato", to indicate the reason for discharge from the Navy:

"Indicare se per termine fi ferma o di rafferma, od esonero dal S.A.P. perché collocato a riposo o altri motivi".
