Italian term or phrase: latistanti e sottostanti
I'm translating a marble supply contract, one of whose clauses envisages that marble debris will be transfered from a quarry to "latistanti e sottostanti proprietà/concessioni" (i.e. other quarries). Can't find latistanti in any dictionary. Presumably it means adjoining?

Thanks also to the others. I went for adjacent and downhill (as we were talking about quarries located on a hill).

Explanation:
"latistante" means "which stands to the side" (I'm not sure whether this implies contact or not, maybe not necessarily)...
I don't know if "adjoining" means exactly this, maybe there's a better word, or maybe you coud use a phrase...
sorry if this is not exactly an answer to your question, I hope it helps anyway!
