Come probabilmente sai, sebbene in GB le misure metriche siano ufficiali, tanta gente non le capisce e utilizza ancora quelle imperiali. Per quanto riguarda terreni e proprietà, si usano ancora gli acri (per esempio, le agenzie immobiliari parlano sempre di "3/4 of an acre plot", "2 acre plot", etc.).

agree  CLS Lexi-tech: Verissimo, ben detto! Anche qui in Canada il metro e' ufficiale ma si usa solo nelle scuole; nella pratica e' sconosciuto non parliamo poi di ettari.
