Italian term or phrase:fanno capo
"Alla XXX **fanno capo** le attività produttive dei sistemi di filtrazione aria di XXX"
I am having trouble with the concept of "fanno capo" in this sentence - even though I understand its meaning.
Explanation: You can translate "fanno capo" with "answer to" but perhaps in this context "controlled by" is better
"the productive systems of the XXX air filtering systems are controlled by the XXX". It might help to know what the XXX stand for

Asker: Hi Lindsay - in this case though the XXXs stand for the names of two different companies - sorry I didn't make that clear.
