multicorporate, multi-industrial, supercorporate, etc. ... Explanation: "Sovra" of course implies the next geometrically increasing level up from the adjective that it precedes. But it makes for a certain awkwardness in English: "…regarding [or "in connection with"] forest resources and forestry planning on the corporate scale, and, in a recent experiment, on the multicorporate scale…" (alternative for the easy part: "...in an experiment just concluded,..") The phrase "industrial scale" also comes to mind, but in that case the next order of magnitude is the "mega-industrial scale" or "multi-industrial scale"… which I suppose could be used, as could "supercorporate scale." To my conservative ear, "superindustrial scale" doesn't sound quite right. Your call… |
