Italian to English translations [PRO]
Other
Italian term or phrase: gradire (in this sense)
Again from Parmalat doc.

'I miei consulenti dicono che quei motivi tecnico-giuridici strani per non gradire questa struttura sono delle schiocchezze...'

Does it mean technical-legal reasons for not appreciating the structure? And 'strani'? All help much appreciated. Thanks :-)

English translation:appreciating/liking
Explanation:
I think you've understood the meaning perfectly. "Strani" I would translate as "bizarre", for example - "bizarre technical/legal reasons for not appreciating the structure..."

agree  tania ceccarelli: è una frase molto buffa, sembra che manchi un verbo, non ha molto senso (che vuol dire "per non gradire questa struttura??) comunque gradire sono d'accordo con Cathsal.

agree  LuNa Italian: All in all I agree with cathsal, even though I'd prefer the word "odd", as "bizarre" would be better translated with "stravagante". But these are nuances.
