Oliver Walter: 19:20 Dec 3, 2006: Re: "many years' experience". I would happily put this in my CV. The alternative I might consider is to state the number of years. For me, "many" means at least 10, "several" would be 5 to 12, "a few" would be 3 to 8 (approximately).

"Consolidated experience" doesn't include the element of time. In a C.V., too, the word "consolidated" might have negative connotations of solidity and unadventurousness.
