veneered composite wood panels Explanation: Hello again again, Sorry to keep hogging your furniture Sarah, but, well.. What can I say? Someone else may have a better name for "listellare". I know what it is, but haven't seen it in the UK. It's basically solid wood panels composed of various size "strips" (each from say, one to twenty centimetres wide) of wood glued edge to edge. It's very strong and warp resistant because the grain runs in different directions, so it makes an ideal substrate for a natural wood veneer in a piece of quality furniture. Derek |
