extra plied yarns Explanation: it's just a suggestion - the translation of titolo for textiles is "count" and under yarn count I hit this site http://www.margaret-peel.com.au/ycount.htm and Ms Peel explains what count is and that there is a thing called "plied yarns" where there is more than one "count" so bob's your uncle - or so I thought.... (extremely) high-volume specialty yarns Explanation: As far as I remember from my experience in the textile industry, we used to call such items "specialty yarns". You could call it "high-volume" if you want to describe the effect or "multiple count" if you want to indicate the construction. If you need an English adjective for "esasperato", "extreme" is often appropriate. HTH Giles |
