Italian term or phrase: bene culturale
If it had been "beni culturali", I wouldn't have hesitated... "cultural heritage", or just "heritage" would be perfect, but in the article I'm translating, "bene culturale" is used continuously in the singular, sometimes with a generic meaning, sometimes referring to a work of art, a building, a statue, a monument, etc, although which is not always clear from the text. Can anyone think of a similar term in English, general enough to refer to all or any of these? Here are a couple of examples:
I've tried a few alternatives, but they all sound too much like a translation, so I'd be really grateful for any ideas that sound English!
