I have used the search engine Google and have found out that the term "daytime center" is written in 315 English websites. Here is an example of its usage:
"The Sanctuary Art Center is a daytime center that provides youth living on the street with a safe haven."

I have also found out that the phrase "intended for boys" is written in 120 English websites. Here is an example of its usage:
"The Tutka (Radar) museum is intended for boys."

is this for BOYS only or for CHILDREN only. I read it is boys in which case adults are irrelevant (girls may be allowed to join later). And so why not DAY centre?

Explanation:
Yes, diurno means day, but I wouldn't use it here. If it indeed intends to eventually include services for adults, I'd use community center.
