Explanation:
"Se tu m'ami" is one of the classic 18th-century Italian art songs, and one that every aspiring lieder and/or operatic singer encounters sooner or later. As in many of these songs, the setting is pastoral. This one's in the form of a speech by a young woman to her admirer, a shepherd. The Italian words of the opening verse are "Se tu m'ami, se tu sospiri sol per me, gentil pastor...," or, in English:

"If you love me, if you sigh only for me, gentle shepherd..."

The rest of the verse tells the listener a lot more about the speaker: "Facilmente t'ingannar," i.e., "You're easily fooled..."!
