Italian to English translations [PRO] Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature / historic poetry/wine | | Italian term or phrase: langue | Same piece of poetry written by a priest/poet for a friend's wedding (in 1818, so the language is a little dated).
"langue" - from "languire"? As far as I can make out this means growing weak/fading/dying... hardly appropriate for a wedding surely? Or is it simply that this is the best wine around and has restorative qualities?
All help appreciated; TIA :)
