Italian to English translations [PRO]
Ships, Sailing, Maritime / regulations at sea
Italian term or phrase: rimessa
Considerando che è meglio proteggere la zona di arenamento della nave « Lands End » al fine di permettere un decorso favorevole dalle manovre di rimessa a galla

"a galla" means keep afloat - cannot see how "rimessa" fits here!

putting it back (afloat)

Explanation:
I think it's simply literal rimessa as in putting back
referring to putting the boat once more afloat after it has grounded, I presume

To haul down or to lower

Explanation:
Cari amici,

Con "rimessa a galla" si indica un movimento dall'alto verso il basso, con "refloat" il movimento è inverso "ritornare a galla" dal basso verso l'alto.
Un sinonimo di "rimessa a galla" potrebbe essere "ammainare" o meglio "calare in mare".

Un cordiale saluto a tutti

mooring

Explanation:
I considered this as a way to moor the boat as apposed to hauling the boat out of the water hence the word afloat
