Italian to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Ships, Sailing, Maritime / yacht docking | | Italian term or phrase: posti per barche | This is not industrial maritime field, but is regarding the expansion of a tourist port. I don't need a word that is too technical, but wasn't sure if tourism field would cover this or not.
Context reads:
"...che già oggi accoglie circa 800 barche e che a breve sarà quasi raddoppiato con la previsione anche di posti per barche da diporto di grandi dimensioni."
I don't know what a docking area for large yachts is called. I attempted "also providing places for large yachts" but I am sure I am missing something in my translation. |

Explanation: I read that these amoorngs are for large yachts so they will tie-up alongside a jetty and not be left "dry" like other types of Posti barca
