Io traduco: The Company required the authorization to cancel the motor-ship from the Italian Register of Ships for export sale"
Non credo vada bene "for export sale"... qualcuno mi può aiutare? |

Andrebbe bene anche "for export sale" che hai trovato, ma dipende tutto dalla sfumatura che vuoi applicare all'espressione. Grammaticamente possiamo stare tranquilli, - "per vendita all'estero" non richiede strutture sofisticate. Eventualmente puoi stringere la traduzione a una sola parola ("export") formalizzandola con una preposizione ("for").

Ah beh, allora cambia il discorso!.. Se il contesto ci dà la possibilità del mezzo già venduto, toccherebbe espandere un po' la traduzione con la descrizione: "due to the motor-ship being sold abroad". Oppure: "since/as the ship (vehicle) has (already) been sold". In somma, il metodo di descrizione è il migliore i.m.h.o., anche perchè fai una fatica tremenda rimanere con la stessa struttura sintattica dell'originale.

Asker: E' probabile che l'imbarcazione sia già venduta, come rimarcava anche il collega. "For export" indicherebbe la possibilità o l'intenzione di vedere l'unità su mercati esteri, si intendo bene?
