Thanks to all. This answer fits well in the context.

I remember hearing this in the film 'The Full Monty', not that it has any sexual innuendo here, of course.

2 hrs
-> Va bene invece xche viene usato in piu' variazioni, es. "all to cock" offre quasi 5.000 Ghits

In view of Bruna's (Texjax's) comment "when everything goes to hell, it is a bond which goes beyond heaven and hell" is not possible, nor is anything with "goes". I can find nothing with just precisely the same level of the vernacular, so a compromise is necessary:

"when your whole life is in pieces it is a bond which goes beyond heaven and hell"

neutral  Mirra_: non corrisponde bene all'espressione italiana, secondo me

-> I felt this was the right compromise between too offensive and too polite for this phrase in Italian. The "F" word in English is the strongest there is in offensiveness.

agree  delveneto: Very nice, good taste.
6 hrs

-> Ciao Bruna AAAaasaaahhhhhai ragione! It was a reflex translation.
