Italian term or phrase: presidio
"Presidio", another of these difficult words! Here it refers to the presence of elements of the Club Alpino Italiano "sul territorio" to promote safety in the mountains.
- "Il CAI [...] si propone con presidi itineranti a favore di una frequentazione della montagna in sicurezza"
- "... un calendario delle presenze sul territorio dei presidi"
Any ideas? Thanks... and yes, I have seen the answers in the archives, but none seem to fit.
