Italian term or phrase: Scorrimento
Composto da tre componenti: a) componente attacco, completo di expander, predisposta per alloggiamento estensioni. b) estensioni regolabili c) componente manubrio, che scorre lungo le estensioni, dotata di “ali” laterali con impugnature alle estremità. Poggiagomiti regolabili con copriappoggiagomiti removibile in materiale antiscivolo. diametro forcella: 28,6 mm. Scorrimento: 100-120 mm. Diametro impugnatura: 22 mm.

Scorrimento can mean scroll, as in the scroll bar on a computer
It can also mean flow, as in water flow: velocita di scorrimento
It can mean plane of inclination (piano di scorrimento). As shown by example in the reference below, it can mean slippage, eg seam slippage (scorrimento alla cucitura). That's the one I would use: slippage. I think in this case it must be the distance by which the thing has moved by slippage. The word slippage plus the no. of milimeters would express this.

In this case I would suggest sliding which is more used for mechanical parts and less specific than slippage.

Slippage is used for brakes, loss of power transmission and for hydraulic coupling as mentioned by Marolli.
