Peter, this word does not exist, it must be a typo for cotonatrici.
The "macchine cotonatrici" are used to insert sanitary cotton in drug containers. Does the context support this interpretation?

Don't know if you're working from a file or hard-to-read fax. Maybe the "o" is actually "ar". Anyway, it could be that the individual packages are in a cardboard box that moves along so each package in it is filled. The fact that the "cotonatici" have a rotating disk gives me the idea that something is moving under the filler.
