Si tratta di tavole e altri oggetti di arredamento in cristallo curvato.
Le lastre di "cristallo float " (float glass) sono curvate ad alte temperature e "fuso a gran fuoco" . Qualcuno mi puo' confermare che per "fuso a gran fuoco" si tratta del processo di tempering (o toughening), che va fatto appunto per ultimo, quando le altre lavorazioni sono stati completati?

No, non credo si tratti di tempering (since this would be another word, i think), se tu conosci la terminologia, che delle volte e` una lingua apparte, e sai che e` cosi, OK, se no, non dovrebbe significare questo. Si direbbe che si trata di "Melted under high temperatures" "melted under big fire"..

Hooray, this time the site let me in. I stuck with fused, not melted or amalgamated, because I am pretty sure it refers to a further shaping treatment of the sheets of glass. That is not totally molten glass. Thanks, as before.

The site will not accept me as the one who asked the question, though I put the password in. What's wrong? Anyway, unless someone fixes this, I cannot give you the points, so I am just writing to thank you. You are surely right (that I was wrong), and after doing some more web searching I ended up using "fused at high temperatures", which refers to further shaping processes of the glass sheets. If someone has a better term, please write.
