(inductive energy recovery) LC filters
Explanation:
Basic AC>DC power supply consists of a reservoir capacitor connected across the output from rectifying diode(s) followed by an RC (resistor and smoothing capacitor) or an LC (choke and smoothing capacitor) filter. Looking at websites 'capacità di livellamento' can mean reservoir or smoothing capacitor, but there does seem to be some/equal confusion in English. “Celle LC” is much to be found in the context of “LC filter”.

In “physics speak” there will be some transfer of energy back-and-forth between the capacitor and the inductor in an LC circuit, but I have not seen such a discussion in relation to an amplifier power supply. Web references for 'inductive energy recovery' seem to refer to DC>AC (e.g. DC/AC Bridge inverter including a switching aid and inductive energy recovery …, www.powersupplies.net/Knowledge/Patents/patents-3.htm)

Don't know if this adds to anything you already know.
