throttle Explanation: I don't find "strozzatore" anywhere and I find "stopper" unconvincing as it is referred to chain and cable. I do, however, find "strozzare" - to throttle - and possibly they intend this? Angela Marolli |

throttle Explanation: Ditto on Angela's response. I have a 2000-page hardware catalogue that gives me a picture of a throttle control "for locking throttle applications", so this would also account for your clamping mechanism. "Choke" is also used for strozzatore, but it seems more appropriate for pipes and hoses, as it "chokes" the passage of air. Good luck! |
