Italian term or phrase: spiaggia convenzionata
Presumably, members of the public have to pay for access to this beach, whereas hotel guests are entitled to free access. I would be very grateful for suggestions as to how to express this concept in a manner that is both accurate and appropriate to the context.
The full text is as follows:

-> Gian, the idea is to phrase this in English that is familiar to English speakers, I think. This is the way it would be phrased in the USA. : )

-> I agree with you, but I think this expresses the concept without going all around the houses. Another possibility is "beach reserved for hotel guests".

agree  Derek Smith: Although Gian is quite right to dot the i's, I think that given the prestige of the hotel's former guests and the style of the prose "private" might be more or less justified - or maybe "exclusive" to keep things amorphous
1 hr

agree  Raphael Chukwuka Amolo: i agree with Derek Smith to keep things amorphous by using a less precise word.
