just in case you're looking for something a little more 'romantic' (depending on how the rest of the text sounds)... you could either use as-is "The two hearts of the place blend in perfect harmony..." or turn it round "The place with two hearts that blend...." - not many google hits (more if you just use "two hearts" or "two souls", but this isn't a question of right/wrong...

... my two cents, as it were... :-)
