Italian term or phrase: palazzo ex pretura
I know that the pretura is translated 'magistrates court' but this is confusing. It comes in a list of places in each town that could be useful to travellers, for example the local tourist office, public relations office, pharmacy and so on.

e.g. Palazzo ex pretura, Via Cavour; Carabinieri, Piazza Garibaldi; Ufficio Postale, Via.....
