Italian term or phrase:spesa al modo della locanda
I am not sure exactly what this expression means, although perhaps customers can 'try and buy'?. Belongs to a description of a hotel:
Qui si può fare la "spesa al modo della locanda", con vini e oli selezionati con cura, oppure lasciarsi tentare dagli spuntini preparati coi migliori prodotti locali
Explanation: A google search for the exact phrase itself shows it in the context of breakfast offerings at the B&B, and the website for the B&B shows similar phrasing for a slightly different context (but still the same basic concept), as pointed out by Giulia Gigliotti in the reference section below.
In both cases the reference is to providing guests with the opportunity to buy products directly from the B&B's (Locanda's) own sources, or suppliers.
The idea is to shop like the Locanda shops, from its very own suppliers.
Also see the link provided by Giulia Gigliotti for further context for the concept.

The concept behind this phrase would seem to be rather specific, according to the Locanda's own explanations online, in that the Locanda itself is providing guests the chance to make purchases from their suppliers.
In the context of the asker's phrase, guests are given the chance to make these purchases at the Locanda itself. In the second context, found in Giulia Gigliotti's link, guests are accompanied and introduced to the suppliers by the Locanda staff.
The Locanda is promoting the fact that they provide guests with special access to local products and producers.
Finally, depending on which context your own translation project refers to (whether buying the products from within the Locanda or going with Locanda staff to meet the producers, both of which are options offered by this Locanda), an alternative would be:
"purchase products made by our own suppliers" or "purchase products made by the Locanda's own suppliers".
The idea is that guests can buy and take home the same products they enjoyed while staying at the Locanda.
Many thanks to everyone for answering but particularly to Sarah for guiding me through it and to Mario for a similar but less full answer and to Giulia for the reference, which I also had found but she managed to make more sense of. My thanks again to all.

Explanation: a local inn (rather than coachin inn, eating-house, bed and breakfast, motel, hotel, etc.), simple but with local flavour. [Maybe they try to make it more chick than its level is.]
Explanation: This refers to a specific hotel named after historical locanda premises.
It means shopping around the place the locanda's way i.e their local suppliers.

Reference information: This link explains what 'al modo della locanda' means in the context of the B&B it applies to. It seems to be some kind of guided tour of nearby inns and other establishments where the guests can purchase local products and produce: http://www.locandadelgardoncino.it/it/descrizione.htm
