Italian to English translations [PRO]
Wine / Oenology / Viticulture / fermentazione/vinificazione
Italian term or phrase: Rifermentazione in autoclavi per la presa di schiuma
As far as I know, the presa di schiuma is the second fermentation, right?

So it would be "Second fermentation in autoclaves for a second fermentation"

I am missing something...

Thanks!!!

English translation:"prise de mousse" by refermentation in pressure tanks
Explanation:
As Sarah says, "presa di schiuma" and rifermentazione are the same thing but you can use the French term in English for elegant variation. "Autoclave" is an Italian word that is not common in English (outside of translations from Italian) although the French equivalent "cuve close" can be used if you're short of synonyms.
