Nelle aree già coperte dai ghiacciai si osservano comunemente i segni dell’abrasione, superfici levigate e arrotondate (liscioni glaciali), strie, scanalature e solchi glaciali, diretti secondo il flusso del ghiaccio.
Roches moutonnées : Les roches moutonnées sont un substrat rocheux qui a acquis une surface bosselée du même aspect qu'une toison de laine. Les roches moutonnées peuvent s'étendre sur des kilomètres.
