IL MARE, IL ***BAGNASCIUGA*** E LA SPIAGGIA

Tutte le mattine viene eseguita la pulizia della spiaggia in modo da garantire soprattutto ai bambini la massima sicurezza ed igiene durante la loro permanenza sulla sabbia o sul ***bagnasciuga*** per i consueti giochi.

Come tradurreste BAGNASCIUGA nei due casi? Avevo pensato a "bord de mer" o "bord de l'eau", ma se ci può stare nel contesto della frase non mi pare una buona soluzione per il titolo.

Grazie anticipate per il vostro aiuto.

la battigia è comunemente chiamata bagnasciuga, ma in realtà il bagnasciuga è quella parte di superficie di carena della nave limitata superiormente dal piano di galleggiamento a massimo carico ed inferiormente dal piano di galleggiamento a nave scarica.

Nota. L’uso di bagnasciuga per battigia risale a un discorso di Mussolini, noto appunto come il “discorso del bagnasciuga”, nel quale sostenne che se gli anglo-americani avessero tentato uno sbarco sarebbero stati fermati sulla “linea del bagnasciuga”, cioè al limite tra la spiaggia e il mare. Quel tratto di spiagia fino ad allora si chiamava battigia, e bagnasciuga era solo un termine tecnico marinaresco. Qualcuno fece notare l’errore, ma la notorietà dell’episodio diffuse anche il nuovo significato di bagnasciuga, tanto che oggi questo termine è, proprio in questo senso, più diffuso di battigia.
