a seconda di quanto specialistico è il testo... chevet è parola usata in francese, che però a volte torna in italiano e in tedesco a definire il capocroce di chiese francesi. Se si possa usare nel tuo contesto non lo so: comunque indica l'insieme di abside, deambulatorio e cappelle, quindi volendo si può dire solo coro, a meno che non si prali degli esterni, che allora mi sa che devi proprio usare "chevet". Ciao!
