Explanation:
Wenn es um die sala ricevimenti in einem italienischen Hotel oder Restaurant o.ä. geht, würde ich Gesellschaftsraum vorschlagen. Empfangsraum, - saal ist sicher je nach Kontext eine richtige Übersetzungwürde ich aber eher als einen Raum sehen, in dem Besucher empfangen werden, nicht als einem Raum, in dem z.B. Hochzeitsfeiern oder Taufen stattfinden.

Wenn Gesellschaftsraum zu "gesellig" klingt, könnte Bankettraum ja noch eine Alternative sein, zumal es in Italien ja immer auch ums Essen geht ;-)
