Italian term or phrase: Gelo
Qualcuno sa come si potrebbe tradurre in tedesco il termine "gelo" riferito ad esempio al "gelo di cannell a" o "gelo di mandorle", dolci tipici della Sicilia?? Grazie!

Explanation:
Wird meistens schon vor dem Backen aufgetragen- eine Zucker- evtl Eiweissmischung, parfuermiert je nach Geschmack, die sich im Ofen in Kristalle oder eher "Schuppen" verwandelt, wie Schneekristalle.
Nach Backen aufgetragen, gibt es eine glaenzende weissliche Ueberziehung, und das waere dann die "glassa" - den Begriff "Eis"kannst Du ja nicht verwenden - auch wenn die Amis das icing nennen! Aber da geht es um torten und nachtraeglich aufgetragenen Zuckerguss. Nicht um frisches Kleingebaeck.
