In der Keramik werden solche "inserit" als Einleger bezeichnet. Begegne diesem Ausdruck oft beim Durchlesen von Keramikinfos. Es handelt sich hierbei um Fliesen, die mit den Grundfliesen kombiniert werden können (meistens sind sie verziert und dienen als Dekor) und somit als Ergänzungselemente beliebig verlegt werden können.
