Praticamente si tratta di un'azienda che produce scatole. Le scatole vengono ricoperte con la grafica.

Vanno bene entrambi i termini, ma sembra che in tedesco "Bilddatei" sia più diffuso: per es. inserendo "Grafikdatei" in Wikipedia si viene inoltrati a "Bilddatei".

Poi, "Bild" in questo caso non va preso letteralmente come "immagine"; Bild- oppure Grafikdateien sono file che possono contenere diversi elementi bidimensionali, ad esempio anche testi, foto ecc. Quindi non bisogna fare confusione con il contenuto stesso (che in questo caso consiste "casualmente" in una grafica) che la ditta in questione presenta in tale forma. A rigore, la ditta potrebbe anche presentare la sua grafica integrata in un file di testo, o in un file pdf, e allora il file inoltrato non sarebbe una Bilddatei oppure Grafikdatei. (E allora sì che si potrebbe chiamare quel file anche "Grafikdatei", ma non sarebbe più il termine come viene usato comunemente, ma un uso particolare, non diffuso, della parola.

Penso che si tratti semplicemente di una "Grafikdatei", cioè il file che è/contiene la grafica (ad es. *.jpg): Tu mi confermi il file grafico/mi dici quale grafica ti piace, e io confermo di mandarti la scatola ricoperta di questa grafica entro 15 gg -il contesto ci sta?

Asker: Il significato è proprio quello che spiega Claudia...quindi la traduzione piu' giusta credo sia proprio "Grafikdatei"
