Laut meiner Recherche dürfte es sich um den "Freibord" handeln.

E' la distanza che intercorre tra il limite superiore di uno strato di suolo che costituisca un ostacolo alla crescita delle radici dei vegetali e la superficie del suolo. Il franco può essere limitato anche da un innalzamento della falda freatica, a seguito di piogge.

Asker: Hallo Claudia, hab grad nachrecherchiert, dass kann hier leider nicht passen, da Freibord wohl vor allem mit Pflanzenkläranlagen / Schiffen etc. vorkommt, was hier aber nicht der Fall ist. Lieben Dank trotzdem für die Hilfe Sabine
