La rete tridimensionale è composta da /monofilamenti estrusi aggrovigliati in polipropilene/, raggruppati in forma bicuspidata. Il prodotto viene posato, in combinazione di una membrana sintetica o bituminosa, tra lo strato di copertura in metallo e tavolato.
La micro ventilazione creata da uno spazio d’aria tra tavolato e copertura in metallo evita la creazione di condensa, protegge così sia lo strato di copertura in metallo dalla ruggine, sia il tavolato dalla umidità garantendo a lungo termine la funzionalità del pacchetto.
Inoltre la rete 3D funge come fonoassorbente smorzando rumori creati da pioggia e grandine.
Wenn man im Dt. den Begriff für sich nimmt, könnte er an so etw. wie "besteht aus extrudierten ver-/ge-wickelten(?) Polypropylen-Monofilen ..." angelehnt sein. (?!?)
