Das "ecologico" ist hier m.M. nach witzlos und überflüssig. "Auffangwannen" werden in diesem Sinne immer dazu eingesetzt, um eine Verschmutzung der Umwelt zu vermeiden. Maschinen, die beim Betrieb Öl verlieren, sind seit jeher - zumindest was ich erinnern kann - in Auffangwannen zu installieren, damit die Soße nicht auf den Boden und letztendlich ins Erdreich gelangt (hier "Leckölwannen").
Genau dies ist eigentlich hier gemeint. Der Kram wird in Auffangwannen abstestellt, damit, falls was ausläuft, nichts ins Erdreich gelangen und damit die Umwelt verschmutzen kann (deshalb "ecologiche")
