Es geht darum, dass Verona zur Weinhauptstadt geworden ist und dass sich die veronesischen Weine in den letzten 20 Jahren herausgemacht haben, aber eben andere Regionen mehr im Rampenlicht stehen.

Ich stehe auf dem Schlauch, ich weiß genau, was es bedeutet und kriege es nicht ins Deutsche.
