"Battilastra" en mi experiencia es prácticamente un tipo especializado de "carrozziere", o sea el artesano que se ocupa de la carrocería: en particular, el que se ocupa de la parte relativa a la chapa y no a la pintura. Si no hay sugerencias más precisas te propongo ésta.

El "carrozziere" que se ocupa de la pintura sería "verniciatore", que también tienes en tu listado, también por eso me inclino por la traducción como chapista.
