neutral  Y. Peraza: A mí sumidero me suena a lo de la bañera. Y según el DRAE, alcantarilla puede equivaler a boca de alcantarilla.

  -> tienes razón peró alcantarilla me parece un poco genérico y de dimensiones grandes...aquí parece que se refiere a algo pequeño visto que ha sido atascado por hojas.....de todos modos es una sugerencia y nada más ;)

agree  Maria Assunta Puccini: Para mí ambas son exactas; si vemos el DRAE, un sumidero es el "conducto o canal por donde se sumen las aguas". Eurodicautom define el tombino como "obra que permite el paso de un curso de agua por debajo de un tramo del canal"
